Is it possible to sum up the history of where I have been, and how my art has developed? Details are immense.
On the other hand you may be thinking, "This blog just started. Do historical accounts exist for new things?". Why, yes. The 'history' resonates in the newness and the reasons for development--thanks for asking!
I'll present to you some facts about me & my artistic background. Want to know something that I didn't cover? Your curiosities & questions are, as always, welcome.

High School Education: The Alberta High School of Fine Arts. High school degree with an emphasis in Visual Art.
College Education: The Alberta College of Art & Design, major: Media Arts & Digital Technologies.
Utah Valley University, major: Behavioural science with an emphasis in Psychology.
essentially you can say that I have my Bachelors in Be.Sci. with a Visual Art minor.
Future education plans: Art therapy graduate program fall 2011. (ask me if you have Q's).
Where? I'll share with you when I receive the acceptance letter.
Here's a hint: the program is "limited residency" which means I'll study for 3 months on my own, then attend class for 3 days straight & present my work and see what others in my cohort were up to for those 3 months. Repeat (x) times till the masters program is finished. I'll still be around here for a while yet.
Future Career plans: This blog is where you get to experience the story unfold first hand! I greatly desire to create an open community Art Therapy studio where individuals & groups can come learn about art, learn to value their ability, expand their creative endeavours, and to help those who are having trouble in their life through art therapy. I'd love to include with this studio a gallery where clients & artists can show their work, share their struggles & triumphs, and reduce the stigma that accompanies mental illness.
